Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the IMAF website collects, how it is used, and the services that help us operate the site.

Who we are

This website is operated for the International Modern Arnis Federation (IMAF) at mastersoftapitapi.com. Questions about this policy or your account may be sent to admin@mastersoftapitapi.com.

Information we collect

When you create or use an IMAF account, we may collect information you provide such as your username, name, email address, city or region, country, dojo or school, Arnis school, rank, profile information, and membership status.

Some profile fields are optional. Information you choose to place in your member profile or a member directory may be visible to other signed-in members according to the site’s privacy and directory settings.

Memberships and payments

Paid IMAF memberships are processed through Stripe. Stripe receives the payment information needed to process your transaction and manage recurring billing. IMAF does not store your full payment-card number on this website.

We retain membership and subscription information needed to determine whether your IMAF member access is active, inactive, canceled, past due, or otherwise changed.

Account activation, login, and security

We use account activation by email and security controls to help protect member accounts. The site also uses Google reCAPTCHA on registration and login forms to help detect and reduce automated or abusive activity. Google may process technical information as part of that service.

Contact forms and email

If you submit a message through the Contact IMAF page, we collect the information you enter in the form so we can respond. Contact-form submissions may also be retained in the website administration area for follow-up and recordkeeping.

The website uses email-delivery services and the IMAF administrative mailbox to send activation messages, password-reset messages, membership notices, and contact-form notifications.

Cookies and technical information

WordPress and Ultimate Member use cookies and similar browser storage for functions such as login sessions, account security, and remembering that you are signed in. The hosting platform and security tools may also record technical information such as IP address, browser information, request logs, and timestamps for operation, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.

Hosting and service providers

We use third-party services to operate the site, including our web-hosting provider, Stripe for payments, Google reCAPTCHA for bot protection, and email-delivery infrastructure. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to IMAF.

How we use information

  • To create, activate, and maintain IMAF website accounts.
  • To provide member-only content and directory access.
  • To process and manage IMAF memberships and renewals.
  • To communicate about account, membership, security, and support matters.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

How long we retain information

Account and membership information may be retained while an account remains in use and afterward when reasonably needed for administration, membership history, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. An expired or inactive membership does not automatically delete the member’s website account.

Your choices

Members can update profile information through their account where the site permits. Directory visibility can also be adjusted through available account privacy settings. If you want help correcting or removing information, contact admin@mastersoftapitapi.com.

External and embedded content

Some pages may link to or embed content from other websites. Those services may collect information under their own privacy practices when you interact with them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the IMAF website and membership services change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
