One federation. Two ways to belong.

Individual membership is for practitioners who want active IMAF membership and access to member resources. School membership is for eligible IMAF Black Belts who own schools and are authorized to promote their students.

Membership renews automatically every twelve months from the date of payment. Your WordPress login account and your paid membership status are related, but they are not the same thing: signing in identifies you; active membership determines access to members-only content.

Individual Membership

$75 / year

Automatic renewal every 12 months from payment.

For individual practitioners

Active IMAF membership and members-only content access.
Eligibility to test for IMAF rank when all applicable training and instructor requirements are met.
Access to IMAF training material and protected member resources.
Black Belt directory listing when the member holds an eligible IMAF Black Belt rank and chooses to be listed.
Connection to the wider IMAF member community.

If membership expires, your account stays in place, but members-only access is removed until membership becomes active again.

Test checkout is active. Stripe is connected in Sandbox/Test Mode, so test subscriptions can be completed without a real charge.

School Membership

$150 / year

Automatic renewal every 12 months from payment.

For eligible school owners

Official IMAF school membership.
Includes active individual member access for the school owner.
Eligibility to test for IMAF rank when applicable requirements are met.
Access to IMAF training material and protected member resources.
Black Belt directory listing for the eligible school owner, subject to profile visibility choice.
Dojo directory listing for the school.
Authority to promote the school’s students in kyu ranking under IMAF rules.

Eligibility: the owner must be an IMAF Black Belt or above, own the school, and be authorized to promote students. Eligible owners may enroll and pay immediately; there is no separate approval step at launch.

Students are separate memberships. School payment covers the owner, not students. No school-management dashboard or student administration features are planned for launch.

Create or confirm your Ultimate Member account. This login remains yours even if paid membership later expires.

Complete annual payment

Once Stripe integration is configured, membership checkout will charge the selected annual amount and renew every twelve months.

Complete your profile

Update member details and, where eligible, the information used for Black Belt or dojo directory listings.

Membership status controls access.

Active

Members-only access enabled

Active individual members and school owners covered by an active School Membership receive the same protected member-content access.

Expired

Account remains, access pauses

An expired membership does not delete the user account. The member can still sign in, but protected membership content is unavailable until membership is active again.

Login status

Signed in does not mean paid

A successful login only confirms the account identity. Membership coverage and active/expired state must be checked separately when restricting protected content.
